The material of the Spidron exhibition will provide an opportunity for simultaneous reflection on a number of issues of science and art. Nevertheless, by pushing out the limits of exploration and transposing artistic and scientific perspectives, several constellations may be studied which highlight in general the significance of the fruitful relationship and interactions between the results of mathematical and geometrical research and artistic creativity and innovation. We would like to provide the opportunity for "interthinking" to the enthusiasts of mathematics, geometry and the arts. Therefore we organized the Pécs – Ars GEometrica 2007 International Convention and Workshop.
